Markus Golden hosts a FREE annual youth football camp at his alma mater, Affton High School in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Designed to give back to the community that helped shape him, the camp provides young athletes with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football in a fun, high-energy environment. Through hands-on drills, mentorship, and motivation, Golden creates an unforgettable experience that encourages youth to stay active, build confidence, and dream big—both on and off the field

Break Time
Markus Golden proudly partners with Break Time as the official ambassador of all things GOLDEN. Through this exciting collaboration, he supports Break Time’s MIZZOU Rewards Program, which gives fans a chance to win exclusive prizes, including signed collectibles from Markus himself, leading up to each MIZZOU football game. It’s a golden opportunity for Tigers fans to show their school pride and score one-of-a-kind memorabilia from a true MIZZOU legend.



Sickle Cell Disease Association of America’s (SCDAA) Celebrity Ambassadors
As one of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America’s (SCDAA) Celebrity Ambassadors, Markus Golden is committed to using his voice to uplift and inspire those affected by sickle cell disease. "I want to use my platform to bring attention to a disease that is often neglected and forgotten,” Golden says. “It’s important to me, my family, and so many others.”
Through his advocacy, Markus encourages individuals living with sickle cell to share their triumphs and challenges, helping to build a stronger, more visible community. As part of his ambassador role, he proudly supports SCDAA’s national campaign, Break Through Sickle Cell—an awareness and fundraising initiative launched during the football season to amplify the cause and drive meaningful change.
“I’m excited and honored to serve as a SCDAA Celebrity Ambassador,” Golden adds. “Together, we can raise awareness, spark action, and support families across the country who are impacted by this disease every day.”
From Farm to Football
From Farm to Football showcases the importance of farming and ranching in our everyday lives, including football. Arizona Cardinals’ Markus Golden is the spokesperson with him showcased on a player poster that highlights ag from farm to football. More than 700 classrooms have signed up for this program in its second season

As one of SCDAA’s Celebrity Ambassadors, Markus hopes to inspire those affected by sickle cell disease to speak out about their triumphs and struggles. “I also want to use my platform to bring attention to a disease that sometimes gets neglected and forgotten,” says Golden. “I am excited and honored to be able to serve as a SCDAA Celebrity Ambassador, and I look forward to launching our awareness and fundraising campaign this football season – Break Through Sickle Cell – which will help to bring attention to this cause that is so important to me and my family and so many others.”
